The HantsFurs Website
This is what has happened to the site since the creation of HantsFurs.co.uk - come and wallow in history.
21th March 2008:
Removed the Meet Info section on the main page, three years after creating it. It was never updated, and thus had become redundant. Also removed the Stuff section (well, commented it out) as nothing was created for it. The page is still there, however, in case someone does write something to place in to it.
07th March 2005:
Updated the Meet Info section on the main page. Also added a logo by Laz.
15th February 2005:
Updated in this update: The home page has had a very minor tweek, the site log has been updated - and the Email List page has been created! Fear my coding power! Actually, it's just code recycled from V2 of the site! Hey, if it ain't broke - don't fix it. Using the power of the iFrame, I have also done the Forum page, so that the forum loads directly in to the page! No need to go off-site for the forum anymore! This time you may fear my coding power! EDIT: Fear the coding power of SlyCat too! Reports came through that the site didn't work in FireFox. Now it does, thanks to the aid of SlyCat and his coding powers!
08th February 2005:
Today has been a pretty productive day in terms of site development. The Links page was stolen from the old version of the site, and fit in quite nicely after a couple of modfications. Even added a bit of meet information... How's that for a few moments work!
26th January 2005:
After letting the site in to disrepair, I have redesigned it again and streamlined it to cut the crap. The site is going to be a lot smaller now, so it will be easier to maintain and slower to fall out-of-date. Updates for today: This page was made live, as a visual demo of how the site will look. No buttons work, all links are dead - it's just a hollow shell. Advantage is, when the site is finished I can just rename this template page to log.html and save the effort of having to make a log page.
30th July 2004:
The site's gallery might be created in the next few days. All the BBQ photos are in, and they are fantastic! The best of the crop will appear on the site!
19th May 2004:
There is a new meet called, so I have updated the site. Zeshin and Rapido have a BBQ planned.
21st January 2004:
Finally got Bungle's meet report online. I really do not like getting Word Documents filled with pictures, they are a PAIN to edit. That said, his report is now online and looking good. I have also put up some information on the latest meet. I wanted to get the Gallery underway but editing Bungle's meet report took three hours longer than I expected. Also need to get a couple of things in the On The Mind section. Maybe next update.
11th November 2003:
Uploaded some details on the Christmas meal. That was about it really, so much more I wanted to do but ran out of time.
7th September 2003:
Loads of new things. I have reset the Next Meet sign to show there is no meet planned currently. I have also added the meet reports for the latest meets, just have to dredge the old reports from SlyCat from his site now. Also added a little... Something.. to the On The Mind section, just for giggles. In the Links section we have a new Furry Link, to a site dedicated to BOOKS! Remember, that reading thing, only not on screen or printed from the internet. If the next update goes well, we should have Bungle Bear's meet report for the Foxes Forest meet, and the beginnings of the HantsFurs Gallery - Be afraid, be very afraid.

On The Mind now has things added. The rather odd and nasty A-Z lists from the HantsFurs Mailing List. Feed a few furs the wrong things and this is what they come up with. Still waiting for more people to contribute though, might bitch about that in On The Mind at some point. Also added more details about Wolvarr's BBQ in the Next Meet section (click on the date on the Home page).
14th July 2003:
New things added! On The Mind has been opened and instructions given on how to have your say on things. Furs have issues, now they have another place to vent and share their grief with the rest of the world. Also added some more Hampshire Related Links and now some furry ones too.
9th July 2003:
Inbetween work and playing Playstation 2 games I have added a littly tiny bit more to the HantsFurs site. There are a few links up on the links page, and I have also added the "Wizbit" theme to the Downloads page - just because that theme keeps on running through my head.
7th July 2003:
Once again the site is redesigned and Version 3 hits the internet. A little more easy on the eye than V2 and there are plans for a lot more content. Added more detailed meet information for the latest meet, click the date to find out more. Site is still very bare at the moment, but that will be changing slowly as I get new bits done and online.
14th March 2002:
Wow, long time no update. I'm getting slack. This time added the flyer for Chippy Chips into the Up For Grabs section since that's the chip shop most used during a HantsFurs meet. Well, Chunkys has seen custom from us but only when at TK's place and since they don't have a flyer, it's not getting uploaded. Simple as that. Also removed the "Wall With The Fox" background since people complained that they couldn't read the text on top of it (sorry Killen - I liked it but the public have spoken). Hopefully, this should be more to people's reading tastes. Also added Email contacts as an after-thought. TK and B.H. are now "emailable", should such a word exist.
24th February 2002:
More cast members added to the cast list thanks to the recent LondonFur Meet which had a large HantsFurs presence. I took lots of pics and had plenty to update the cast list with. Also updated the Next Meet announcement.
4th January 2002:
ICQ Online notices now have found their way onto the cast list and B.H.'s meet report for the New Year has made it's way into the Reports section. Pics are on the way, however most of them are very dark and need a lot of work to get them viewable.
25th December 2001:
More pics go into the gallery - this time for the HantsFurs Christmas Meal. Only 4, but then it IS Christmas day so give me a break. :o) I'll try to get more pics added before the New Years, but there are a lot of them! Also managed to add in some cast photos as well. Horay!
8th December 2001:
Begun to impliment the new Digital Font around the site now, which helps it all look nice. Also put the font up for download too in the "Up For Grabs" section.
29th November 2001:
Added the McDonalds Location section in the "Up For Grabs" area. A Much needed furry food portal finder. Also changed the front page at last and got rid of that out-dated text.
25th November 2001:
Bit of an overhaul really. Version 2.1 opens which is an updated version of the site, gone all grey and digital with a side bar. Also added the "Up For Grabs" section for the talented furries to show off their stuff, and maybe offer their services for commisions. Also managed to add Dark_Lordess' report for the Hallowe'en meet at last.
3rd November 2001:
Added the mailing list section with the details on how to leave and join the HantsFurs Mailing List, an essential piece of information. Also added a picture into the Halloween Gallery. Soon I want to make something decent of the main page, but that's going to have to wait until I can think of something good to put there.
2nd November 2001:
Http://www.hantsfurs.co.uk is born with 2 image galleries open - each containing 2 pictures. Mostly a test site still, but most of the early bugs have been worked out. Full navigation at the bottom of each image in the galleries. Added the log page and uploaded to a new and faster server. Also corrected a couple of spelling errors after spelling B.H.'s name B-H. Ooops!
